I grew up in a log cabin, and now I have a microwave oven…” was the first line of my artist’s statement from 1983 through 1988. Now I say “..and a computer, too!” I have been an artist of one sort and another all my life (a long time), and since 1990 I have concentrated on creating digital art; the “Chairperson” above was my first digital image, a symbolic self-portrait, created using Tips with a Targa board and a Summagraphics tablet on a 286 PC .
